Wakayama Castle is a symbol of Wakayama City, where the castle tower stands in Tora Fushiyama. In the past, the castle tower was 'Otenshu' in Wakayama dialect. → He was called "Otensu."
There are zoos and tea rooms on the grounds of the castle, as well as the history as the residence of the Kishu Tokugawa family and the restored Mihashi corridor.

At Wakayama Castle, "Wakayama Castle-Corridor of Light", which creates the charm of Wakayama Castle at night throughout the four seasons, has started!

Wakayama Castle Park, where about 450 cherry trees are in full bloom, is a famous cherry blossom spot in Wakayama City.
During the event, about 100 Bombolis and about 400 lanterns will be lit up, so please enjoy cherry blossom viewing under the cherry blossoms at night illuminated by the lights.
