Wakayama Castle, one of Japan's leading castles with beautiful nature, the sea, and abundant remains.
Wakayama Castle is a symbol of Wakayama City, where the castle tower stands on Tora Fushiyama. A long time ago, the castle tower was "Otenshu" in Wakayama dialect. → It has been called "Otensu".
There are zoos and tea rooms on the grounds of the castle, as well as the history of the Kishu Tokugawa family as the residence, the restored Mihashi corridor, etc.

Wakayama Castle Park, where about 450 cherry trees are in full bloom, is a famous cherry blossom spot that Wakayama City is proud of.
During the event, about 100 Bonbori and about 400 lanterns will be lit up, so please enjoy the cherry blossom viewing under the cherry blossoms lit by the lights.
