Kisetsukyo

Kisetsukyo| Grand Mercure Wakayama Minabe Resort & Spa [Public Holiday]

Kizetsukyo is a valley located upstream of the Aizu River in Tanabe City, where you can see fresh greenery and cherry blossoms in spring, cool rivers and waterfalls in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and the beauty of the four seasons.
There are countless, large and small, uniquely shaped rocks scattered all over the place, and there are highlights such as the Fudo Falls at the end of Takimi Bridge. If you follow the mountain trail from Fudo Falls, you will see a giant monolith (16m high, 22m wide) carved on a large monolith (16m high, 22m wide). The stone Buddha drawn based on the original painting of the painter Insho Domoto is stunning.
