Shirahama

Shirahama is a white sand beach with a length of about 620m, which is the origin of the name Shirahama. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kansai, attracting about 600,000 visitors every year, has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Best Bathing Beaches. With white sand, emerald green sea, and the scenery of palm trees lined up, you can feel like a resort-like atmosphere reminiscent of Waikiki Beach, a sister beach. In Shirahama, various events such as beach yoga and triathlon are held for events such as fireworks and lanterns.
